Journée de l'Europe: F-GB à l'Hôtel de Ville

Merci à tous ceux qui sont venus, fêter avec F-GB en T. la "Journée de l'Europe", 8 mai 2008.

Thanks to all those who brought cakes - and support - to the F-GB stand at the 'Hôtel de Ville' in Tours for the celebrations of the 48th anniversary of the signing of the first European Treaty.

Voici quelques photos souvenirs.  Le thé, le Pimms, les sandwiches au concombre, de même que les sandwiches au 'Marmite' de notre ami, Ian Johnson, ont eu beaucoup de succès.

Herewith a few photos.  Ian's cucumber sandwiches were a great success; the Marmite sandwiches also!
As to the cakes many of you contributed, they were a tribute to your home-made (English recipes!) cooking.
